Tutorial Scrapbook Mini Album Folder sin Papel DecoradoScrapbooking Fcil Luisa PaperCrafts

Tutorial Scrapbook Mini Album Folder sin Papel DecoradoScrapbooking Fcil Luisa PaperCrafts
Hello! How are you? In today's video we will make a mini album folder without scrapbook paper. We are going to need: cardstock, in this case I am using letter size, washi tape or decorative tape, ruler, cutter, scissors, glue and whatever you want for decoration. Optional: punch, eyelets, elastic ribbon and contact paper. First: Cut the cardstock in half Let's join the two pieces with washi tape, I'm leaving a quarter of an inch of space.

First I will hold them to prevent them from moving. Remove a little bit of the tape adhesive before you paste it to avoid mistreat the cardboard when taking the tape off Be sure to use a tape with good glue to join the pieces, If you do not have it you can apply glue before or use strips of cardstock Paste washi tape on both sides. This way we will have a more resistant and flexible spine. Take another sheet of cardstock cut it a little narrower than the base.

Set it horizontally and make a mark in the middle, starting from that mark we measure an inch to the right and another to the left. In vertical we measured a half of an inch. Join the lines and cut, this will be the entrance of the pocket. To give more view round the corners.

Do not forget to erase the pencil lines. To stick the pocket to the base, cut two strips of an inch by the width of the pocket. Fold them in half, cut the corners diagonally. Put one on the top and the other on the bottom aligning the edges well.

Before I paste it I will put washi tape on the 4 edges. I recommend doing this to protect your album, if you are not going to use paper contact. As I rounded the corners I also have to do it on the washi tape. Make cuts like this on the corners and start to fold.

I will do the same on the three remaining edges The corners will be thicker and that is okay so they do not get damage so fast. I'm going to cut another piece of cardstock, As you see I do not measure I just make a mark with the pencil where I will cut. I will draw lines half of an inch away from the left and right edges. On these lines I will draw 3 more with a separation of 2 inches between each one.

It's going to look like this. Let's make a cut down the line we draw and another on the line. These will be the slots where we will insert tags. Detach the remnants.

Put washi tape right at the edge of the slots to prevent it from being opened further. I also added washi tape up and down, Put adhesive only on the edges and stick on the pocket. This part will go on this side. I will not stick it yet, I'll do the left part first.

Take another cardstock and fold it in half. I make a mark with the pencil where I am going to cut. It's going to be like this and from this side I will make a pocket as we did with the first one. Cut two strips of cardstock, fold them in half, cut the corners diagonally.

I measure the center and from there I measure one inch to the left and another to the right. Half of an inch down and cut. Stick the strips of cardstock to the sides. If you don't want to open this part you can make the pocket by placing the strips of cardboard up and down and cutting the left side.

Here I have my front cover, only with some stickers that I framed with white gel pen. I will apply contact paper to protect it. I round the corners, I make cuts and fold, just as we did with the washi tape. For the tags I will use scraps of cardstock, I put marks where I'm going to cut and make sure they slip through the slots.

To add the elastic ribbon I will use my Crop A Dile, The perforations are two centimeters away from the edge. To secure the tips I will use eyelets, if you do not have it, you can glue them with silicone or sew them by hand. I'm using double-sided tape to stick my pockets to the base, especially on the side where the contact paper is, but where there's not contact paper I will use white glue If you did not add contact paper you can use white glue on everything. You could also use a clamp or ribbon to close.

My project is finished As you see I did not use decorated paper, only stickers, washi tape and my white gel pen, I wanted to do it because I got comments where some of you tell me that it is difficult to get scrapbook paper. Mandalas would also be beautiful in the corners. I did not measure the big labels I just made marks with the pencil and cut. This is a very simple mini album or folder that I hope will inspire you.

Tutorial Scrapbook Album Grande hecho con Folders Muy FcilScrapbooking Luisa PaperCrafts

Tutorial Scrapbook Album
Hello! How are you? Today we will make an album using file folders We need 3 file folders Any design of file folder works I have an extra one and I will use white cardstock because I do not have in the color of the folder. The pattern paper is from the DCWV of the Pocket Blossom Collection I will also use a ribbon for closing and the usual basic materials. First, cut one folder in half, to not measure fold in half and just press the top a bit to make a mark and cut keep them aside Take the second folder and we are going to cut on this middle line, so each piece will have a hinge Fold the hinges Take the third folder that will be the base. Place one of the pieces I saw that it exceeded the central edge of the base folder.

So I decided to cut the hinge and make another one. This is for personal preference you can leave it like that. Now I'm going to stick it on the base. Put adhesive on the hinge Take care not to stick it on the fold line.

Glue the second piece aligning it well. You can glue the pattern paper leaving a border around or as I will, covering the base completely. Either way we are going to leave the fold lines free. Put the adhesive paste the pattern paper flip it over and cut with a x-acto knife or scissors I'll do the same with rest of the pages Before lining the cover and back cover I will attach ribbon using masking tape.

Now we can paste the pattern paper, leaving free the lines marked to fold that the folders bring. It is going to look like this I had already glued the pieces we had reserved, but I made a mistake. Cut the two pieces along the middle line. Glue the pattern paper I will do it completely leaving the fold line free.

I will also put some pattern paper in the back. With these four pieces we will make a waterfall. Apply glue on the hinge and stick it to the base. First the shortest pieces and then the long ones.

Align well with the edge of the hinge of the previous piece. I take the fourth folder and I'll cut it over the line by which it's folded. Now I will cut two pieces of 5 by 7 inches. We will paste them in this part but before stick pattern paper on them For the inside of the back cover We will use the second part of the folder.

Cut it in half Remove one of the lines to fold. Fold the remaining tab. Cut the corners of that tab diagonally. I'll make a diagonal cut, about 4 inches from the fold and 2 inches from the bottom edge.

I'll stick the pattern paper on it, but this time leaving a border around it. Draw the silhouette with the pencil, cut and paste To glue it to the base, put glue on the tab and on the bottom edge. With the other half, we'll make a drop-down First cut one of the lines to fold and cut the width to 5 inches. Cut the corners diagonally and fold the tab.

Cut another piece of 5 by 7 inches and glue the decorated paper. Apply glue to the tab and glue it on the back of the other piece. Stick it on the folder and it's ready. Now cut 4 pieces of 5 by 8 1/2 inches and make score lines at 1 1/2 inches.

Fold them Glue the pattern paper on the four pieces only on one side. I left the back of the flap blank to write the story. I will also paste a card to give it more interaction. Put a thin line of glue on the bottom and a little bit on the sides.

I will do the same with the other pieces. I will place them in this way. I will put the adhesive in only three parts. We can put more cards on this side and here too.

Now let's cover the spine I will do it with a strip of cardstock of 2 inches wide you can use washi tape or fabric Now it's ready to decorate The decoration on the cover is flat so I can apply a layer of decoupage glue to protect it. The waterfall is secured with a mini clip. Perfectly fit 6" by 4" or 15 cm by 10 cm photographs. In the back you can place more photos or just to write the story.

The heart only has adhesive on one side to be able to hook the photograph. I put phrases on the tabs of the waterfall. On the next page you can put a large photo or two of regular size. On the following pages I added more cards.

Another page with enough space for large photos. In the pocket you can paste a photo of 4" by 4" or 10 cm by 10 cm. The tag measures 8" by 10" And finally the drop-down. I hope you liked this video and if you did please give a thumbs up Share it with your friends and Subscribe to my channel for more videos Thanks so much for watching.

Tutorial Minilbum Scrapbook Hecho con FoldersLuisa PaperCrafts

Tutorial Minilbum Scrapbook
Hello! How are you? In today's video we will make a mini album using two file folders. You can use any folder design you have. I will use this one that has the tab below and is for A4 papers. First we are going to fold the back aligning the edge with the fold to have the tab on the outside.

Now fold the front part aligning with the fold from below. I will leave the smaller part as the cover. Make a line to fold at 9 inches. We will make pockets to the pages Do the same with the second folder.

We're going to have a M-shape but we're going to close it. Put adhesive on only two sides to make another pocket on the top. Let's put the two file folders together. Apply glue on three sides.

Glue them. We have another pocket. Before closing the small pockets, stick the pattern paper. You can leave the tabs simple or cover them with the decorated paper.

I pasted the scrapbook paper only on the visible parts. Now, close the pockets. I'm going to put ribbon for the closing, I'm sticking it with glue dots. Put the pattern paper on top.

I do not recommend adding more folders because as you see, the bottom is wider by the pockets unless you put them without pockets. To cover the spine I have a piece of cardstock 2 inches wide and I'll cut it to the same length as the album. I'll undulate the paper a little. Let's put adhesive on the edges, I'm measuring as 2 centimeters from the edges to know where to put the glue.

I put the mini album aligning the edge with the marks that I made with the pencil stick the other part of the cardstock, you can also use fabric. As you can see on there's more space on top than on the bottom. I'm going to pass the bone folder to shape it. Now I will cut cardstock to make the tags.

Optional - we can add flaps to the pages that have the pocket on the top. I have this piece that I cut of the same measure as the tags. Just make a score line at half of an inch Cut the length a bit if desired, cut diagonally the corners of the tab. Put pattern paper Apply glue on the back of the tab.

Insert the tab into the pocket and paste. You can even add one more flap to the other side of the page. The mini album is ready to decorate. I just added a big card on the cover.

The spine looks a bit shiny because I applied a layer of decoupage glue. My cover is flat so I can also apply that glue to protect it. I added phrase cards from the same collection of papers. On the pages with flap the cards help me to hold them.

The large pockets are not closed in case you want to put some other tag. You can use this mini as a traveler album and place maps, tickets, passes, etc. Into the pockets. You can place wallet sized photos, even regular size.

Tutorial Mini Album Scrapbook con Sobres y Encuadernacin de LazoScrapbooking Luisa PaperCrafts

Tutorial Mini Album
Hi guys! How are you? Today we will make an envelope mini album with ribbon-bound. I'm going to make my own envelopes but you can buy them the size of your preference. I'll start by cutting 6 pieces of cardstock to 8 1/2" by 8 1/2" Following the instructions in my Envelope Punch Board For this paper size I need to make my first punch at 4 1/8 " I do not stop at this step because I already have a video explaining how to use this board. Link in the information box.

Fold Put adhesive to close the bottom of the envelope Already having my 6 envelopes I am going to measure the high, In my case it measures 5 1/4 " I'm going to cut 3 strips of 5 1/4" by 2" for the binding. Fold in half at 1 inch Let's take the envelopes two at a time and place them this way. These strips are going to be stuck here, but first I'll make a small pencil mark at 1/2" And I will cut diagonally the 4 corners. Put adhesive on that half of the cropped corners and stick it on the back of the envelope.

Do the same on the other side. Repeat these same steps to join the other envelopes. I will mark a line just at the edge of the envelope and the strip of the bound to be able to fold. Make two holes This one will be my template for the other two.

Now let's make the cover, I have a letter size cardstock, I'm going to cut it about 5 millimeters higher than the envelope. I'm going to put some marks where I have to make lines to bend. I match those marks with the slots in my board and score. Now the part of the spine I will measure the depth or thickness, In my case it measures 3/8 " it will depend on the number of envelopes you are going to use.

I count 3/8" and make the line. Now I have to make another line to close, count 1/2" inch and score. Half of an inch because that's what the part of the binding is. Fold I will use one of the envelopes as a template to make the perforations on the cover.

Now we need to cut the other part of the cover. I use a piece of card stock I cut it at the same height. Before I glue this part I will add a design. I will hold the die with washi tape To prevent it from moving and make a partial cut, I'm only interested in the design part so I put acrylic B.

Only on that part. With the X-acto knife I make cuts at the ends to detach the top. I will also measure half an inch and cut those corners diagonally. Apply adhesive.

Glue it Now I will make other score lines to close, I make my first line, measure, in my case 3/8" which is what the spine measures and I re-score The first line make it leaving a space from where the envelopes end. Fold this will be like this Now I'm going to make the cards. I place the letter-size cardstock vertically, cut at 5 " and fold in half at 5 1/2" I'll make 5 more and start decorating. To close the envelopes I cut these labels.

You can use velcro or just leave them like that. I will use repositionable glue dots. Put eyelets to secure the perforations of the cover. You can also put it in the perforations of the envelopes.

I insert the ribbon. I do double knot and then the bow. I put magnets to close. Here I have it ready, The phrase says perfectly imperfect and loved.

I wanted to add this cardboard sticker To give more firmness to this part because it is the one that is being pulled to open. To the envelopes I only sticked a phrase. Cards have decorated paper on front and back side. In the inside I left space to write.

The back of the envelopes is simple, you know that to have a better decoration we need the photographs. If you like this video please give me a Like, share it, and subscribe. Scrapbooking Tutorial #7 Oops - Ways to Fix Mistakes on Scrapbook Layouts

Scrapbooking Tutorial #7 Oops - Ways to Fix Mistakes on Scrapbook Layouts
Oops! Oops! Oops!!! Hi!  I'm Jennifer Neumann and
I love traditional scrapbooking, but sometimes, I wish it
came with an undo button! Scrapbooking is the best way to capture memories and make them last a lifetime But how do you get started
without spending a fortune? Pages for the Ages is here to help you out! Scrapbooking is a great way to preserve our favorite photos and memories, but let's face it - Traditional scrapbooking is not a hobby
for the perfectionist. When we're working with our hands and raw materials such as
paper and scissors, sometimes things will go wrong. What are we to do with these
little blemishes on our scrapbook pages? I suggest, rather than throwing out your entire layout and having to start over with new materials and extra time that you should work with
what you have. Um, in today's tutorial I'm
going to cover 3 situations where there was a small blemish
on my page and talk about how I tried to
fix that blemish as best I could.

What should you do if you
have a stray mark on your page? Here is a live example
of that problem. I've been working on this page
for my little sister. Here we have a photo of us when we were younger in Mexico and on this page I've
been trying to bring out a lot of colors such as
red and green which are on the Mexican flag. The last touch I had to
do on this page...

Before it was complete was to write the word "Sisters" down here and the Spanish word for
"sisters" at the top - Hermanas. Well, I was just about complete
with this project when SOMEONE who shall remain
nameless, bumped my arm and caused me to create
this stray mark. So, I'm going to bring you closer and we're going to examine the damage. Now, what can I do to
fix this problem? Here are two suggestions.

Number one, you could add
an additional layer on top... Of the word "Hermanas"
and just start anew. So, I've used the tearing technique a lot on this page and
I would find a complementing color such as this pastel orange
which brings out the orange here and I would put this on top. Now, this fix would take
a little bit of time because I like symmetry and I
would want to do the same thing for the word sisters down here.

Another option is to
get the matching paper and put pretty much a
Band-Aid on there. Now, I am fortunate enough to have a piece of that
yellow and white speckled paper which I used for the
picture frame. So, I'm going to add
another layer of this to cover up the mistake. Now, if I decide to add
a HUGE rectangle on top of the word Hermanas and
start over, that's fine.

However, the bigger the piece
you use, the more distinct the lines will be
for that new layer. So, with that in mind
I figure, use the smallest piece possible to
cover up your mistake. So, to do that, I'm
just going to put down 1 piece of adhesive and cut out a very small block just to cover the stray mark. So, no matter what, it will be visible that
there was a mistake, but we move on and we
fix it as best we can.

What can you do when you've
made a mistake cropping your photo? Now, many of you out there
probably use the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System. If you don't,
I recommend it. It's a basic tool
every Scrapbooker should have. The Creative Memories Cutting System...

Is basically, a series of shapes. You can get circles, ovals
uh... Hearts, anything you want and you buy the Creative Memories blade which fits into the shape and then allows you to cut
photos and paper into those shapes. Now, one of the biggest mistakes that I make with this system is I will not have the peg correctly inserted into the shape.

If you only have one peg
in the shape, this is what happens. I now have a HUUUUGE gash
on my photo rather than the nice cut line and it's not even on the right
place for the circle. So, how do I deal with this problem? There are basically two ways. Either, number one, I can try to re-crop the photo or number two, I can try to
cover up my mistake.

So, if I'm going to re-crop the photo there are a couple of options. I can set this shape
back down maybe in a new position and
try cutting it - making sure that I
don't make the same mistaske. And....It looks like
that would be possible in this situation. I've just moved the shape
slightly over.

Or, I happen to be
using the blue blade which cuts furthest from
the shape so I. Could use a different colored blade such as the red one
which will cut, um, closest to the shape. It may not be the
circle I desired, but it will cover up the mistake
that I made. Let's say that you've
cropped your photo in such a way that
it was unavoidable getting rid of this gash.

Well, you can always try
to cover up that mistake. For instance, here I've added
a nice background piece of paper and
a paper photo mat and on top of that gash I'm just going to add
this beautiful paper flower. Paper embellishments or stickers would be good ways to
cover up that mistake. It's not detracting
from the photo, but in fact, it's actually
adding a little bit of color.

Um, another idea is rather than making your photo
the top layer, make it the bottom layer. Instead of having this gash
be on top, I'm going to add a
picture frame and cover that up. That last "oops" sitatuion
we're going to talk about deals with journaling. Now, writing down your experiences is a great way to communicate
to future generations what inspired you to
make your scrapbook pages.

Unfortunately, a lot of errors can occur when
journaling by hand. A lot of these mistakes can be avoided by
simply planning ahead of time and writing a rough draft. Seasoned scrapbookers
such as myself tend to skip this step. We think that we can
get it perfect on the 1st try.

Well, that hasn't always
worked out in my favor and as a result, I've ended up spending MORE time
trying to fix the problem. So, the lesson is planning goes a long way
especially with journaling! You are looking at my premade scrapbook page
called "Proposal" which you can find
at my online shop: Pages4theages.Artfire.Com . On this page we have a
beautiful diamond ring and on that ring is a
little journaling tag. It's supposed to be
like a price tag on the ring and there's a place for you to write the date, location, and how your proposal happened.

So, on this tag I've purposefully written
in different thicknesses and I've not had very
even lettering. So, what would I do
if I wanted to fix this. Honestly, the best situation
at this point would be to just
replace the jounraling tag with a new one. Now, if I didn't have the materials to cover this up and
add a new journaling tag, here is another idea.

Here you can see I've created a whole new look on this tag by
using a technique I call... Ransome Note Writing. Basically, all you have to do is write down the words
that you intend to use... For your jounraling
on different sheets of paper.

So, if the sentences was: "Jake popped the question..." - Every other word would
go on the different sheets of paper. Then, you cut out those
little strips and you simply paste them down. So, with this method I've covered up my mistakes and added a lot of
dimension to my journaling tag. Thanks for joining us for another Pages for the Ages Tutorial! We look forward to seeing you every Tuesday! (Music).

Scrapbooking BasicsHow to Add Text to Your Scrapbook

Scrapbooking BasicsHow to Add Text to Your Scrapbook
Hi. Welcome back to Expert Village "Arts and
Crafts and Everything fun". And today my guest, Sonya, from The Crop Circle, is going to teach
us how to scrapbook. So, what is the next step that we need to do? Well, the next step,
Grace, is that you really want to make sure that you include text in your scrapbook.

You
need to make sure that you are writing the names of the people involved. You want to
capture the story, and you want to have it titled something fun and catchy that you can
really capture attention with. So, I've got an example here of a way that I incorporated
journaling into my scrapbook. This was a very significant period in my family's history,
because my father was diagnosed with cancer, and this was a Christmas that we were going
through that we didn't think that we would have together.

I don't have even a lot of
photos of it, but it was a really important time in our lives. So, not only did I choose
paper that sort of reflected the love and the commitment we had to one another as a
family, but I chose to journal about it. I. Made a little mini-book in here, that actually
opened up with a hinge, that I just talked about how scary it was, and how as a fourteen
year old I thought that this was a Christmas we were going to have without our dad and
that he was there with us and how special it really was.

So you want to make sure that
you're re really capturing that emotion with your written word. A lot of people, you know,
they save that for last and then they never get around to doing it. Right. And a lot of
people are even afraid to use their own handwriting, and I would say your handwriting is a part
of who you are.

You use your handwriting to talk about what is happening in your photos,
and you connect a little personality to it. It's great. So, it really is a storytelling
tool to express yourself. Absolutely.

Because you're putting the emotions in it. Exactly.
Great. So, go ahead and story tell. Make sure you're journaling.

Make sure you're writing
in your scrapbook. Definitely. And what is coming up next? Next, we're going to just
talk about a couple more ways to journal, and of some wrapping up tips. Great.

That's
coming up next..

Scrapbooking BasicsBasic Tips for Beginning to Scrapbook

Scrapbooking BasicsBasic Tips for Beginning to Scrapbook
Well Grace, people want to get started scrapbooking.
They want to have fun with it, but they start to get a little overwhelmed. They don't know
where to begin. There's so much out there. "What am I going to do?" My biggest tip for
you is it's not called perfect booking.

It's called scrapbooking for a reason. We're not
meant to obsess with this. We're not meant to have a nervous breakdown over our memories.
It's just something that you have fun with. You do what you want to do.

These are your
memories. They're not my memories. These are your memories. You do what you want to do.
You pick the papers that you think look right; you choose your embellishments; you tell your
story.

And, remember, mistakes are only opportunities to be creative. Absolutely! And that's how
we learn; from our mistakes. Exactly! That's how we do it. And we should have fun with
the mistakes.

Absolutely! That's great. So here is a perfect example of having fun. Look
at this, having fun. This is a fun page.

I. Love it. These are from one of our many trips
to Disneyland. We used to do this as a family.

I just got some really fun pictures here with
my sister and my mom on the Autotopia here. Remember, we got our title here. We've got
our journaling. We have our captioning.

This one is the famous hot dog shot, with my sister
eating a hot dog but not the bun. It's just the family history right here. That's great.
Well, thank you so much for being on the show. You're welcome.

It's my pleasure; so happy
to be here. It's wonderful to have you here. So people can check you out at thecropcircle.Net.
You can come to us for ideas; for registering for classes; for ordering supplies. We are
your resource for scrapbooking.

Fantastic. Thank you so much and that was it for scrapbooking.
I'm your host, Grace Fraga. Check me out at fragaframeart.Com and at Gracecomedian.Com.
See you next time..

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Organize Scrapbook Supplies

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Organize Scrapbook Supplies
I'm getting ready to start this project but
there's just no room on my desk. Have you ever had this problem, no place to work? We'll
let me help you organize your scrap booking supplies. I'm Janet Casto your independent
demonstrator with Stampin' Up and let me show you a few tricks that work for me. First thing
I like to do is have a clean work space and I like to have my grid paper down in front
of me so I can use that to make sure all my cards, and everything are aligned correctly.
I like to have my scissors and I usually keep my punches in a big bin next to me in my office.
I like to have my pens and different scissors, and markers right available at my finger tips.
I like to have my cutter score at the ready and ready to roll, and cut my paper and score
whatever I need.

What I usually do at home also is to my right I'll; my right your left,
I'll have all of my stamps and things organized by category, by words, by season, by holiday,
however I like. And as I'm cutting and scoring my paper, my scraps, I throw into bins that
are labeled. All of my paper of course is categorized by the colors, this makes it easy
to find and work on a project. The other thing I like to do is have everything at reach.
I have my waste can right at my right side, I have all of my tools on a rolling tool thing
in front of me and it just makes for a pleasant working conditions.

I'm Janet Casto your independent
demonstrator with Stampin' Up. Organizing your tools and your scrap booking supplies
can make your project that much more fun to make. I hope you take the time to get organized
and really go to town on your projects..

my stamp sets, the come in various sizes, I like to keep the label end facing out towards
me on my shelf and I put the same sizes together. So I would put those together and then these
would be on another shelf and the smaller on yet another shelf. This makes it easy for
me to at a glance see what I have.

I also keep seasonal stamps together and I keep my
alphabets and words together. For my paper I keep it in a little bin, little file holder
bin and I know at a glance what I have and what I need to order. My table, my desk, I
like to keep it clear. I like to have a piece of grid paper where I can sit down and work
immediately and not have to move everything around before I get started.

My accessories
like ribbons and eyelets and brads and things like that I like to keep it in little containers.
They're all on a spinner of some kind so I. Can at a glance see what I have. And what
I want to use on my next creation. My punches I like to keep these all in a big box, a pull
out box that's right by my desk.

I keep the smaller ones in one bin and the larger ones
in another. It makes a quick and easy way to find what I'm looking for and also take
them out to my classes and events. These are just a few ideas on how to keep your room
organized. I'm Janet Casto your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I hope you take a few of
these ideas and use them then come up with some on your own.

Because an organized craft
room makes your day wonderful..

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Make a Vacation Scrapbook

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Make a Vacation Scrapbook
If you're like me and you've just come back
from vacation you've got a lot of pictures that you took over the holiday. And I'm going
to show you a quick and easy way that you can get those organized into a vacation scrapbook.
I'm Janet Casto your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up! Here's one of the first
albums that we're going to make. And it's using on board chipboard that I've just covered
with some designer paper and then cut out some coordinating sheets to go with it. And
this is a great place to put all of my pictures from my vacation.

They fit perfectly in here.
You have room for journaling and adding embellishments. So that's one way to do it. And all I did
here on the end to tie it all together using my cropodial and some large eyelets and some
rings from the store, tying on some ribbons and make it beautiful. And I'm going to show
you the next one is a little bit of stepping out of the box.

Say you've gone on a beach
vacation. Well how about a flip flop album. Isn't that neat? And all you've done is taken
a pair of flip flops any size, preferably something that you've gotten very inexpensively.
I've taken some coordinating paper, scored it, added some die cut adhesives and I'm using
both sides so I have a front and a back of my summer vacation. Oops, this way.

There
you go. Any size of these will fit. One size fits all. They're a lot of fun to make.

I'm
Janet Casto your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up! I hope you enjoyed your
vacation and will put all of your pictures into a photo album..

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Design a Birthday Scrapbook

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Design a Birthday Scrapbook
Everyone has a birthday and everyone would
like to capture those memories with a birthday scrapbook. I'm Janet Casto your independent
demonstrator with Stampin' Up and I'm going to show you a cute way to have your memories
of your birthday, and a little scrapbook. It doesn't have to be a big 6x6 or 12x12 scrapbook,
this makes perfect size scrapbook for a little party and what I'm using is my confetti simply
scrapping kit, and I've taken the paper out of there, one of the colors to take in with
teal. I've cut them to 6x3 and a 1/4, and I've used 3 of those.

And then I'm using all
of the coordinating dye cut stickers that come with this kit, and I'm just decorating
each page. So on the first page it says "happy happy happy" with a little birthday cake and
what I've done here is just punched a couple holes with my Cropadile, and I've used some
of the old olive ribbon in here and then I've just tied them together. Here's a sticker
for the party menu. So your, your child can do that.

Here's a page for the guest of honor
and then of course you want to leave blank spaces for the photo's you're going to take
at the party for your journaling that you're going to do. Now you can make this age appropriate
for any age to a young child to an adult. A birthday scrapbook is a fun way to take
care of your memories and to show to grandma or all your friends, and have pleasant memories
of your birthday party. I know I look forward every year to my birthday.

So I'm Janet Casto
your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up, I hope you take the time and have a great
birthday, and make this coordinating scrapbook to go along with your party..

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Create a Special Pregnancy Scrapbook

Scrapbook Ideas & TipsHow to Create a Special Pregnancy Scrapbook
There. Hi, I'm Janet Casto, your independent
demonstrator with Stampin Up. And today I'm going to show you a cute way to make a pregnancy
scrapbook. And you think, well I've got nine months, but you don't, because you want to
start in that first month, at least that's what a lot of my friends did.

And here's a
quick and easy chipboard scrapbook. We took the designer series paper. And the reason
I said you want to start right away is, because you want to take pictures each month. So you
want to have at least 12 pages to document your progress and your growth.

And it's okay
to have a belly when you're pregnant. So here's a cute and easy way to get this done. And
there's a really nice stamp that goes with this, that says, "you look fabulous", and
it's a picture of a girl, of course who's pregnant, and it's from the, "she's all that",
stamp set, so that's a really good idea to go with that. Another cute idea for a pregnancy
scrapbook is, along with that same thing of the month by month, and this is a calendar
scrapbook, and you can have each month.

As your pregnancy continues, you can do different
page for each shot. And then as the babies born, you can do another one of these for
the first year of your babies life. So, cute and fun ways to do pregnancy scrapbooks. I'm
Janet Casto with Stampin Up.

Nine months goes very quickly, so you better get started on
yours now. Happy stamping..

Scrapbook bortk paprragasztvalScrapbook envelope created with Paper Glue

SCRAPBOOK ENVELOPE CREATED WITH PAPER GLUE. The glues called Media glue are specifically recommended
for paper works so we renamed them paper glue The water-based, thick and strong paper glues are
available in matte and silky shine versions These glues dont crinkle the paper so they are
excellent for scrapbook and mixed techniques Select a scrapbook paper with patterns
on both sides (30,48 x 30,48 cm)... Measure 7 and 23,5 cm on the top from its
left side, and then do the same on the bottom Use a folding bone (or an object with a blunt end)
to fold the paper at the marks, with a ruler This way you can fold it nicely, by a straight line.
Sharpen the fold by the same folding bone Measure 8 and 19.7 Cm at the sides
of the paper, measured from the top Crease the paper at the marked points... Then fold it up and sharpen the fold Cut paper from the top left and right
corners at the fold by a hobby knife Cut it diagonally at the bottom corners
and remove only half of the paper here Fold the created tabs and fix them by glue You can put paper tags cut from scrapbook
paper with messages to these pockets Glue a standard size envelope to the middle of the sheet Round the corners by scissors or by a corner cutter Cut a piece of harmonizing color scrapbook paper
to the size of the envelope, and glue it there Create multi-level parts that protrude our from the
surface.

Cut patterns and texts around from the paper Now cut little spacer pieces from corrugated paper Glue the cut patterns first, and then put
the spacer on it and put glue on the top Create a multi-level patter from
layered identical patterns You can also emphasize some words of the text by it Leave the rest of the words in two dimensions Put additional decors on it and put
a message card to the empty pocket Fold the edges and glue a mini magnet
to the top of the lower tab When the glue dried, fold the top tab down. Mark
the point of the magnet and glue its pair there Cut a rectangle in a 0.5 Cm smaller size than the top tab... Round its corners... Make its edges rough by a hobby knife Cut into it 1-2 cm deep as if it was torn...

And then glue it loosely so the
embossed tiny magnet is not visible Attach another smaller, patterned
paper to the lower right corner Decorate the surface by a chipboard decor... And tiny paper flowers, for which paper glue is also perfect Also use it to glue the small plastic mosaic pieces.

Scrapbook Album DIY #6FertigstellungAssembly + Review [eng sub]

Scrapbook Album DIY #6FertigstellungAssembly + Review [eng sub]
The pages are finished, so now I can put everything together. First, we take a look, if the cover closes properly. The pages are quite thik, so everything is very tight. So we have to use very strong magnets.

If your cover does not close at all, you can cut off the cclosure of the cover or you make this strip wider. Now, we are going to attach magnets with superglue. Now, the glue has to dry. I already cut out design paper (DCWV), colored the edges and put tape at the back of the paper.

Make sure to use very strong adhesive tape. Now, we are going to glue the paper onto our cover. Before we close the album, we have to score the parts, where the book is going to be bent. My paper got torn, so Im going to color this part with a stamp pad.

Now, we can start adhering the pages onto the binding. First, we take out the tag. Then we are going to look, if everything fits and then we are going to cut of the edges of the hinges. Next, we put glue on both sides of the hinges.

Then we are going to glue the left side of the page onto our binding. We repeat this with the other pages. Make sure everything is even. Next, we are going to adhere the half sides.

We are going to cut the hinge in the middle and cut off the edges. Then we glue the pages flush to the edge of the other pages. So the half pages are going to overlap. When everything is attached, we can embellish the album.

Im finished now and Im going to show you my album..

Scrapbook Album DIY #1Cover & 1. SeiteCover & First Page [eng sub]

Scrapbook Album DIY #1Cover & 1. SeiteCover & First Page [eng sub]
For the cover I already cut out chipboard which is 2mm thick. The spaces between the individual parts have to be about 2mm wide. The album will have 5 pages measuring 15x18cm. And the back and front page of the cover measure 19x17cm, the book spine measures 3x17cm.

And the other spine has to be 1 cm wider: 4x17cm. And on the right side we have the piece that closes the album and it measures 5cm on the narrowest part and 7cm on the widest part. Now, we are going to cut the paper, which lays underneath the chipboard. We are going to glue the chipboard onto this paper and the paper has to be 3cm bigger at the edges.

We are going to need a strong adhesive and glue the chipboard onto the paper. But before that, we are going to cut the paper in a way that makes it easier to glue the paper onto the chipboard. Now, we are going to glue the paper onto the chipboard. Then we are going to bend the cover carefully.

Next, we are going to attach the binding onto the book cover. I already made a video on how to do this binding - you can click here. So now, Im going to apply glue onto the binding. Now, Im going to put something heavy on it until the glue is dry.

Now, the cover is finished. We proceed with the first page. I cut out a paper that measures 30x18cm on the right side and 30x18,8cm on the left side. This flap on the top right mesures 8mm.

Im going to cut off the edges. We are going to use this flap to glue the page together. So we fold the paper up. After folding the flap Im going to attach tape to it.

The paper is open on the left side, because this is the place, where the page is going to be attached onto the binding of the book. And it is open on the top, where we can insert a tag. The tape is attached and now we can glue the page together. The base of the first page is finished.

On the left side the page is going to be attached onto the binding. And on top we have a pocket. Now, we are going to add more flaps to our page. One measures 15x17cm and the other measures 15x15cm.

And we score both at 8mm. This ist the part, where the flap is going to be glued to our page. First, Im going to bend the paper. The flap with the measurements 15x17cm is going to be glued evenly on the left.

Now, we take the smaller flap and glue it onto the flap, that I just glued down. But we leave a distance of 1cm from the egde. Now, it looks like this. Im going to round the corners.

Then, I cut out 2 stripes of paper with the following measurements: 6x14cm and 6x9cm And I made a score line at 8mm. We are going to glue the shorter stripe evenly on the right side. And the longer stripe is going to be attached evenly on the left side of the smaller flap. I already marked the middle of the paper.

Now, Im going to glue it onto the page. Im going to round the edges again. Next, we are going to attach magnets onto the strips. I use instant ahesive.

The front of the first page is finished. For the back of the page we are going to need paper with the following measurements: 15x17cm, 11x13cm, 13x13cm, 15x13cm And we score the papers at 8mm. When the flap (15x17cm) is glued evenly at the right side of the page, we are going to take the paper with the measurements 15x13cm. I already marked the middle of both flaps.

And then we are going to glue it evenly at the bottom of the flap, that we just glued down. Then we take the paper with the measurements 13x13cm. We are going to glue the flap onto the 15x13cm flap, but we leave a distance of 1cm from the edge. We do the same with the 11x13cm flap: We glue it down, leaving a 1cm gap.

Now, it looks like this. Next, we are going to use a template and cut off the edges of the flaps. Im going to round the corners again. And then we are going to attach magnets.

Now, we are going to make a tag. It measures 16x16cm. I made a score line at 1cm. And I drew a half circle at the middle.

Now, Im going to cut that out. On this half circle you can pull out the tag. I already cut out design paper, colored the edges and put tape at the back of the paper. So now we can glue it on our page.

Now, the first page is finished..

Photoshop TutorialScrapbooking With Photoshop CS3

Photoshop TutorialScrapbooking With
Adobe Photoshop is a registered trademark
of Adobe Systems, Incorporated. I am in no way affiliated with Adobe. Hi, I'm Steve Anthony.
I'm a photographer and a digital retouching artist here in New York City. In this clip,
we're going to talk about scrapbooking with Photoshop CS3.

Now, there's so much that you
can do with Photoshop. What I'm going to do is just open up some some images that we can
work with. Here's a, here's a background texture that's kind of interesting. We're just going
to create a page for a scrapbook, and let's start with the background.

This happens to
be just something I downloaded. And then, maybe I want to have a nice picture of, how
about a picture of my sweetheart and myself? Now, what I'd like to do is take the rectangular
marquee tool and just grab a small portion of that picture just by going, creating the
marquee and then going edit, copy, and then go ahead and close that image, and paste it,
edit, paste right into our background picture. I might want to give that a little bit of
a, oh a little bit of, a little bit of shape, so I'm going to go ahead and rotate it by
using the transform/ rotate tool and place it a little bit off center maybe. That might
be interesting.

Hit enter to save those changes, and let's let's give it a little bit of a
drop shadow why don't we, so go into layer, layer styles, drop shadow, and if you slide
that window over you can get a preview of what it's going to look like. You can change
the angle of the light and the distance of the shadow from the picture. That looks kind
of interesting so let's go with that. And maybe we want to have some text in there,
so we select our text tool and just enter some text.

And as you can see, that text is very small;
can't really see it, so we're going to open up our character dialog box. I'm going to
change it from 12 points to let's say 72 points. That certainly does the trick as far as size
goes.
And another trick you can do for doing some scrapbooking is to take your brush tool and
select a fun brush shape, like for example leaves. You can also download any number of
of different brushes that will give you all sorts of special effects.

I had to make sure
that I was in the right layer.
Now as you can see, this is, this is just real quick and silly, and now this I can either
print out on my printer at home, or I can take it to a a local print house and have
them print it out, and paste that right into a my photo book, my scrapbook, or I can create
a digital scrapbook just by building pages like this. I hope this is useful to you. I'm
sure you'll find much more creative ways of scrapbooking, but this is a basic way of how
to use some of Photoshop's tools to get that done. This is Steve Anthony, and this has
been how to scrapbook with Photoshop CS3..

Part 3 Organizing Scrapbook Supplies and Photos

Part 3 Organizing Scrapbook Supplies and Photos
Okay so, we're showing up today with tons of excitement about what happened yesterday, and just being able to really assess your situation. So I'm going to start with your kids. So we talked about how your kids love to scrapbook, and I was thinking about the size, and it might be really fun if they have these mini albums. They're fun, huh? The pages are already stitched in, so there's not even fumbling
with pages in and out of rings or anything like that, they're just stitched in.

This
right here is a value kit. The value kit has way less cards, so it's just a collection,
and so when you don't feel like you want to do an entire full 12x12 album with that one
topic, you go for a value kit, because it's just a sampling. So I thought Landon would
like this one - it's called "Boys Rule." You talked about that preparation of really wanting
to get the pregnancy, document the story of getting him here, and then he's here, and
so the way that I love to document a baby's entry to life is with this. This is the Baby
Boy Edition of Project Life.

You can see a lot of the cards right here, and this is different
than just cute cards. This actually gives you a lot of prompts to give you ideas on
specifically what to document as you lead up to baby's arrival, and then after they're
here, and so I'm going to show you how to put all this together. Does that sound good?
Yes! Okay awesome. I'm going to show you my son's album.

I'm showing this to you because
I think it's going to help drive something home for you in terms of being able to see
what it looks like complete. This is where I have heritage. So I'm including us and my
parents and my husband's parents, and our grandparents, and what I'm going to do is
do a little bit of journaling to say "this is who they are." Then it goes into the story
of us, meaning Mom and Dad. For this concept when you get to that layout it really can
just be random pictures of you and David over the years that are just togetherness, right?
And there's different prompts to have you write about random things about you guys,
your favorite things, stuff like that.

When I get into the core of this scrapbook this
is where I go into my months, and so in this one album the theory is this is Crew's one-year
album. So his whole first year, his history, his family, where he came from, his birth,
and then that whole first year is in this one album. And I put parameters around the
process so that I know I'm only doing a layout or two per month, and the reason why I need
those parameters is because as a mom I think every single picture of my child is cute,
right? So then that prevents me from doing a ton of duplicates, and it prevents me from
doing fifteen layouts about that one day at the park. The whole point here is that we
want to tell a story, and the way that we've organized and created the product is so that
it helps you to tell the story, and then make it easy so when it comes to slipping those
photos in, that's literally what you're doing.

You're slipping photos in, you're grabbing
that pen and you're going to write a little bit of journaling, and that's it. I like it.
I like how organized and structured it is. Knowing that Project Life can be a way that
you move forward in not just the new baby book, but also the way that you complete the
albums that you still haven't finished, do you feel like you are good in keeping all
of your supplies? Some I can, like eliminate, but I feel like that would be the pile that
I have for the kids that I don't care about, vs. Going out to get more when I want to be
creative.

I think that we sort and organize according to type. So, like you did your stamps,
all of your stamps are in a drawer, so it makes the most sense that we have all of your
embellishments in a drawer, all of your paper pads in a drawer, and so forth. And I also
think, hearing you yesterday and then talking with you again about this today that it makes
the most sense that your kids have a dedicated drawer. We'll pick which one that makes the
most sense after we sort, so that they have a drawer that's theirs.

Alright lets dive
in. We're going to make piles by category, and then we're going to put everything back
in an organized fashion. We picked this up from Ikea for you, and it is like our favorite
organizing bin right now, but this is going to be for the kids stuff, and the point of
that would be that we put the kids stuff in here and it has the lid, then since you mentioned
that the kids like to do crafting sometimes downstairs, then it makes this more portable
to be able to take up and down as you want. Thank you! Yeah, I'm feeling super good because
now we've gotten all our piles, and we have pretty much a plan to put each of those piles
back into a drawer.

Then this right here, you've determined is the stuff that you feel
comfortable giving away, so this is our giveaway pile. Final piece of organization is to label.
When you label your drawers you know exactly where things are - you don't have to guess
even though you can see through a little bit, you don't have to wonder "is that really where
my embellishments go, is that really where my paper pads go?" And so we'll label everything,
and then we're done with organizing. So yesterday we found out that all of the physical photos,
or the physical prints of photographs that you have are in this box, which to me is amazing
that they are just fitting in one box, so how not overwhelming, right? Because we can
manage that. One thing to kind of point out already that I'm noticing is that they all
look like, for the most part, 99% of them are 4x6, which is "bingo," perfect, because
with Project Life everything is pretty much 4x6 and 3x4, so these are literally ready
to just slip into the page protectors, which is...

I mean you've done half the work right
here. So my advice would be to use a post it note and a pen, and what you're going to
do is basically separate into categories of subject or of scrapbook. That probably is
the most logical thing to do, is separate and create piles based on the subject matter
for the album it's going to go in, and we'll use the post it note and spread out on the
table and just sort accordingly. Does that sound okay? Yeah.

Okay. You are going to take
all of your pictures, because they fit in here, and you'll sort them and keep them in
an organized fashion. So we picked up these tabs that will give you the ability to just
label each of those sections. When you go to scrapbook, you're not shuffling through
the whole box, you'll go right to your section, you know that you're going straight to Landon's
section or right to Nick's section or right to baby #3, does that make sense? Okay, perfect.
Yesterday we talked and talked and talked, and that for me was really beneficial in helping
understand where you're coming from, what your situation is, what your goals are, so
we did that full assessment and really figured out a lot of what you're hoping to get out
of this experience, and also where you've been.

We also talked about your big picture
goals, because once we understood more of what you're aiming for and what you're hoping
out of your scrapbooking experience and what you ultimately want to have, beginning with
the end in mind, that how we were able to really make more of a clear game plan on how
to move forward. We also talked about who these scrapbooks are for, and that's really
interesting, because it's so different for everybody, and a lot of people make scrapbooking
very personal and just for them, and a lot of people make them as gifts. For you it really
was about for your family - other people can enjoy it, but really you're thinking long-term,
"my children are going to inherit these books. My grandchildren and great grandchildren,
who knows how many generations to come, will see these books." So that storytelling element
was really important to you, which then kind of brought us to talking about journaling
and how important that is and something that you want to incorporate more, so hopefully
you felt some good takeaways from how to get the words in there with the pictures.

Yes.
Yeah, I'm excited about that for you. What was really fun was to be able to say "hey,
Jaime, let's get all of your scrapbooks, hey Jaime how many scrapbooks do you think you
have?" What did you say? Like 4 or 5. About 4 or 5. And how many did you have? 22.

So
that's really fun of course, because we got to see the reality of how amazing you have
been at documenting. You have got to give yourself more credit. So you actually have
done a lot more than you anticipated, but the other big takeaway that happened with
that is that you were like "holy cow, I have 22 albums which means I don't really need
to create more albums right now. I need to finish the ones that aren't done," and that
was a huge "aha" moment for me.

I don't know about you, but that was a big deal. It was.
And that was a really cool understanding about the whole process. We were able to talk about
moving forward, and creating a game plan about which albums you really do want to do, which
comes back to completing the ones that you started. We talked about organizing your space,
and more importantly, we actually went up there and did it, so we got all of your scrapbooking
supplies sorted, and you were able to get rid of some things and declutter a little
bit, sort out what's for the kids, what's for you, and that's really helpful.

Now you
know exactly where to go for certain supplies, and it's all labeled and all set to go. The
first priority, according to you, not me, is going to be this baby album. Do you feel
like you can get it done over the weekend before he comes? Just come by Tuesday, I'll
show you. Oh my word! I'm feeling so excited about what's happened here at Jaime's house.
She was really ready for this.

She loves scrapbooking already, but she just needed a new approach,
and a method that made more sense for her. She's a busy mom to now almost 3 children.
She's a military wife. But now after Jaime's new desire to breathe new life into her scrapbooking
this is her time, she's ready to go..

Paris travel Scrapbook album Flip through

Paris travel Scrapbook
Hi, today I'd like to show you a scrapbook album I made years ago. Even though I'm not very fond of how it looks, I made it to use up all of my printed pattern paper and any scraps I had from other projects. I downloaded most of the paper for free from various designers, all of them were free for personal use. Despite the fact that it looks tacky and it's not my style, I like to open it sometimes and relive the adventure.

Paris is an amazing city and I truly loved it. To be honest, if I hadn't made this album, the photos would probably stay on my PC and that's it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who takes hundreds of photos while travelling and then just makes a digital copy. Just like a computer might stop working, paper can be damaged, so if you're making an album, make sure to have a hard cover and strong binding.

I used binder rings that I took out of an empty folder. Yes, that's not the best idea, but that's the only thing I could get. If you have a laminator, it's a great idea to laminate at least the cover and the last page. What's even more important than photographs are any tickets, brochures, flyers, information tags, checks and everything else you can collect.

I had a few duplicates so I took one and pierced a hole to be able to slide it down the ring, but I used envelopes to hold bigger pieces. That way, I could just slide them out instead of having to pierce them and open the rings every time I want to take them out. Wherever I could, I made sure to write down the name of the place because those things fade fast. Even though I studied a lot about Paris and French culture and I'm sure I won't forget any of those places, I wanted to write it down for anyone else who might open the album.

I used some labels and banners that came in design bundles. There weren't any craft shops where I live, so I had to print everything at home which is why this album doesn't have many embellishments and anything dimensional. Almost everything inside, excluding travelling keepsakes, is just printed paper. Oui, it's too simple and not that attractive, the colour choices are not the best, print quality isn't that great either...

Mais, c'est la vie. I didn't chuck it into the nearest recycling bin because it's a wonderful keepsake. If I were making a new album today, I'd have to use the same low quality photos, but I'd definitely go for a completely different look and different materials. The album size is A4, so I could fit a lot of photos inside, but these are just a fragment of what I had.

It took a long time to browse through all the shots and edit the best ones on my laptop, but it was worth it. For editing, I used online tools and free applications that I still use today. All in all, I like how you can make something out of recycled materials, scraps and freebies. There's no need for paid softwares to edit photos or brand new craft supplies to decorate the album.

I printed most of the photos in a smaller size to save on paper and printer ink. In total, there were about 20 sheets of paper containing photos, which seems like a lot, but some don't come out good (ink splotches or faint colours) which is why you won't be using all of them at the end so it's good to have a few extra ones. I hope you enjoyed this and that it inspired you to make your own album. If you have any questions about the supplies I used, don't hesitate to drop them in the comment section below.

Have fun creating, don't worry about how it's going to look. As long as you like making it, it's perfect. Au revoir and thank you for watching..

How to make
After seeing this notes we are sure you already know what this video is all about. Hi guys this is Jharna Hi this is Khushboo Guys we all know what an revolutionary step Indian government had taken by banning 500 and 1000 notes. So the first thing which came in our mind after listening that news was lets use these currency notes in our D.I.Y. May be after few days this currency doesn't  have a market value but after few years it will be considered in a vintage currency.

So insisted of collecting them later we decided to add them in our currency collections now. Guys we love collecting vintage currency's and guys you know what.Vintage Indian currency's are sold online at very high price. We have some vintage currency's which we have collected like. We have this one rupee note of 1981,1985 and 1973 2 rupee note and 5 rupee notes and we have this coins like 20 paise of 1986, 2 rupee of 1998.Like we have this 10 paise coin of 1988, 1972 and 1988 and 20 paise coin of 1986,1989.And 25 paise of 1986,1999,1981 and 1994.

And besides that we have a collection of 1 paise of 1982 2 paise of 1981 1 paise coin of 1963 2 paise coin of 1967. 3 Paise coin  of 1968 and 5 paise coin of 1965.
