Tutorial Scrapbook Album Grande hecho con Folders Muy FcilScrapbooking Luisa PaperCrafts

Tutorial Scrapbook Album
Hello! How are you? Today we will make an album using file folders We need 3 file folders Any design of file folder works I have an extra one and I will use white cardstock because I do not have in the color of the folder. The pattern paper is from the DCWV of the Pocket Blossom Collection I will also use a ribbon for closing and the usual basic materials. First, cut one folder in half, to not measure fold in half and just press the top a bit to make a mark and cut keep them aside Take the second folder and we are going to cut on this middle line, so each piece will have a hinge Fold the hinges Take the third folder that will be the base. Place one of the pieces I saw that it exceeded the central edge of the base folder.

So I decided to cut the hinge and make another one. This is for personal preference you can leave it like that. Now I'm going to stick it on the base. Put adhesive on the hinge Take care not to stick it on the fold line.

Glue the second piece aligning it well. You can glue the pattern paper leaving a border around or as I will, covering the base completely. Either way we are going to leave the fold lines free. Put the adhesive paste the pattern paper flip it over and cut with a x-acto knife or scissors I'll do the same with rest of the pages Before lining the cover and back cover I will attach ribbon using masking tape.

Now we can paste the pattern paper, leaving free the lines marked to fold that the folders bring. It is going to look like this I had already glued the pieces we had reserved, but I made a mistake. Cut the two pieces along the middle line. Glue the pattern paper I will do it completely leaving the fold line free.

I will also put some pattern paper in the back. With these four pieces we will make a waterfall. Apply glue on the hinge and stick it to the base. First the shortest pieces and then the long ones.

Align well with the edge of the hinge of the previous piece. I take the fourth folder and I'll cut it over the line by which it's folded. Now I will cut two pieces of 5 by 7 inches. We will paste them in this part but before stick pattern paper on them For the inside of the back cover We will use the second part of the folder.

Cut it in half Remove one of the lines to fold. Fold the remaining tab. Cut the corners of that tab diagonally. I'll make a diagonal cut, about 4 inches from the fold and 2 inches from the bottom edge.

I'll stick the pattern paper on it, but this time leaving a border around it. Draw the silhouette with the pencil, cut and paste To glue it to the base, put glue on the tab and on the bottom edge. With the other half, we'll make a drop-down First cut one of the lines to fold and cut the width to 5 inches. Cut the corners diagonally and fold the tab.

Cut another piece of 5 by 7 inches and glue the decorated paper. Apply glue to the tab and glue it on the back of the other piece. Stick it on the folder and it's ready. Now cut 4 pieces of 5 by 8 1/2 inches and make score lines at 1 1/2 inches.

Fold them Glue the pattern paper on the four pieces only on one side. I left the back of the flap blank to write the story. I will also paste a card to give it more interaction. Put a thin line of glue on the bottom and a little bit on the sides.

I will do the same with the other pieces. I will place them in this way. I will put the adhesive in only three parts. We can put more cards on this side and here too.

Now let's cover the spine I will do it with a strip of cardstock of 2 inches wide you can use washi tape or fabric Now it's ready to decorate The decoration on the cover is flat so I can apply a layer of decoupage glue to protect it. The waterfall is secured with a mini clip. Perfectly fit 6" by 4" or 15 cm by 10 cm photographs. In the back you can place more photos or just to write the story.

The heart only has adhesive on one side to be able to hook the photograph. I put phrases on the tabs of the waterfall. On the next page you can put a large photo or two of regular size. On the following pages I added more cards.

Another page with enough space for large photos. In the pocket you can paste a photo of 4" by 4" or 10 cm by 10 cm. The tag measures 8" by 10" And finally the drop-down. Tutorial Minilbum Scrapbook Hecho con FoldersLuisa PaperCrafts

Tutorial Minilbum Scrapbook
Hello! How are you? In today's video we will make a mini album using two file folders. You can use any folder design you have. I will use this one that has the tab below and is for A4 papers. First we are going to fold the back aligning the edge with the fold to have the tab on the outside.

Now fold the front part aligning with the fold from below. I will leave the smaller part as the cover. Make a line to fold at 9 inches. We will make pockets to the pages Do the same with the second folder.

We're going to have a M-shape but we're going to close it. Put adhesive on only two sides to make another pocket on the top. Let's put the two file folders together. Apply glue on three sides.

Glue them. We have another pocket. Before closing the small pockets, stick the pattern paper. You can leave the tabs simple or cover them with the decorated paper.

I pasted the scrapbook paper only on the visible parts. Now, close the pockets. I'm going to put ribbon for the closing, I'm sticking it with glue dots. Put the pattern paper on top.

I do not recommend adding more folders because as you see, the bottom is wider by the pockets unless you put them without pockets. To cover the spine I have a piece of cardstock 2 inches wide and I'll cut it to the same length as the album. I'll undulate the paper a little. Let's put adhesive on the edges, I'm measuring as 2 centimeters from the edges to know where to put the glue.

I put the mini album aligning the edge with the marks that I made with the pencil stick the other part of the cardstock, you can also use fabric. As you can see on there's more space on top than on the bottom. I'm going to pass the bone folder to shape it. Now I will cut cardstock to make the tags.

Optional - we can add flaps to the pages that have the pocket on the top. I have this piece that I cut of the same measure as the tags. Just make a score line at half of an inch Cut the length a bit if desired, cut diagonally the corners of the tab. Put pattern paper Apply glue on the back of the tab.

Insert the tab into the pocket and paste. You can even add one more flap to the other side of the page. The mini album is ready to decorate. I just added a big card on the cover.

The spine looks a bit shiny because I applied a layer of decoupage glue. My cover is flat so I can also apply that glue to protect it. I added phrase cards from the same collection of papers. On the pages with flap the cards help me to hold them.

The large pockets are not closed in case you want to put some other tag. You can use this mini as a traveler album and place maps, tickets, passes, etc. Into the pockets. You can place wallet sized photos, even regular size.

Tutorial Mini Album Scrapbook con Sobres y Encuadernacin de LazoScrapbooking Luisa PaperCrafts

Tutorial Mini Album
Hi guys! How are you? Today we will make an envelope mini album with ribbon-bound. I'm going to make my own envelopes but you can buy them the size of your preference. I'll start by cutting 6 pieces of cardstock to 8 1/2" by 8 1/2" Following the instructions in my Envelope Punch Board For this paper size I need to make my first punch at 4 1/8 " I do not stop at this step because I already have a video explaining how to use this board. Link in the information box.

Fold Put adhesive to close the bottom of the envelope Already having my 6 envelopes I am going to measure the high, In my case it measures 5 1/4 " I'm going to cut 3 strips of 5 1/4" by 2" for the binding. Fold in half at 1 inch Let's take the envelopes two at a time and place them this way. These strips are going to be stuck here, but first I'll make a small pencil mark at 1/2" And I will cut diagonally the 4 corners. Put adhesive on that half of the cropped corners and stick it on the back of the envelope.

Do the same on the other side. Repeat these same steps to join the other envelopes. I will mark a line just at the edge of the envelope and the strip of the bound to be able to fold. Make two holes This one will be my template for the other two.

Now let's make the cover, I have a letter size cardstock, I'm going to cut it about 5 millimeters higher than the envelope. I'm going to put some marks where I have to make lines to bend. I match those marks with the slots in my board and score. Now the part of the spine I will measure the depth or thickness, In my case it measures 3/8 " it will depend on the number of envelopes you are going to use.

I count 3/8" and make the line. Now I have to make another line to close, count 1/2" inch and score. Half of an inch because that's what the part of the binding is. Fold I will use one of the envelopes as a template to make the perforations on the cover.

Now we need to cut the other part of the cover. I use a piece of card stock I cut it at the same height. Before I glue this part I will add a design. I will hold the die with washi tape To prevent it from moving and make a partial cut, I'm only interested in the design part so I put acrylic B.

Only on that part. With the X-acto knife I make cuts at the ends to detach the top. I will also measure half an inch and cut those corners diagonally. Apply adhesive.

Glue it Now I will make other score lines to close, I make my first line, measure, in my case 3/8" which is what the spine measures and I re-score The first line make it leaving a space from where the envelopes end. Fold this will be like this Now I'm going to make the cards. I place the letter-size cardstock vertically, cut at 5 " and fold in half at 5 1/2" I'll make 5 more and start decorating. To close the envelopes I cut these labels.

You can use velcro or just leave them like that. I will use repositionable glue dots. Put eyelets to secure the perforations of the cover. You can also put it in the perforations of the envelopes.

I insert the ribbon. I do double knot and then the bow. I put magnets to close. Here I have it ready, The phrase says perfectly imperfect and loved.

I wanted to add this cardboard sticker To give more firmness to this part because it is the one that is being pulled to open. To the envelopes I only sticked a phrase. Cards have decorated paper on front and back side. In the inside I left space to write.

The back of the envelopes is simple, you know that to have a better decoration we need the photographs. If you like this video please give me a Like, share it, and subscribe.
